Q & A with Anubhav Bhasin – Project Delivery Manager

Anubhav works in Venerate’s Project Delivery Team. He joined us recently having been specialising in Salesforce for a little over 5 years. Anubhav is a Service and Sales Cloud certified expert and has worked with a range of projects, across 27 global markets.

Why did you choose a career in Salesforce?
I like the fact that Salesforce are continually innovating – whether that’s through acquisition like Tableau and Pardot, or through product development such as Einstein Analytics and AI. Continual innovation shows they are at the forefront of great customer experiences and it’s one of the reasons I chose this career. It feels great to be a part of an evolving and fast-moving space – and it inspires me to keep learning and growing every day.
What has been your career path so far?
I started my career as a Java Developer for an IT major. From there, I moved into an Analyst role with a start-up company, and this was when I first got in touch with Salesforce as a business user. After my post-graduation, I shifted my career to Salesforce – and I spent 5 years working as part of the ecosystem in consulting, development and project delivery. In joining Venerate, I will focus my skills in Project Delivery – and I will manage the overall delivery for several key projects.
What are the key skills you need to be a good Project Delivery Manager?
You need to develop a blend of both business and technical skills to perform this role. So, alongside deep Salesforce expertise, you need a good understanding of different industries combined with business communication and analysis skills. I also believe that leadership skills are essential for this type of role. I have to lead and manage teams; motivating and coaching them, and I need to inspire them to always perform to their best ability for all our customer projects.
What is the best thing about working at Venerate so far?
Venerate is growing very rapidly and is expanding into overseas markets very quickly. This means that are so many diverse opportunities to learn and grow through the many different customer projects that we deliver.
Who inspires you (who is your role model) and why?
My role model is my father. His can-do attitude is something that inspires me every day. As a young man, he started his own business at an early age with no one to guide him. Today, he is running the business successfully and I see him putting in a lot of hard work to be the best in a very competitive environment.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone looking to start or develop a career in Salesforce , what would that be?
